Youth Ministry Program Updates from Lisa
Fall is here and things are up and running in terms of youth ministry activities. Check out all of these happenings:
- 9th Grade CF Participants- Due to schedule conflicts with our 9th grade catechists, classes for those teens in 9th grade will meet on the evening of Sunday, September 28th, 7:00 PM in room 216. Classes will return to the regular morning schedule on Sunday, October 26th.
- Workcamp Informational Meeting- Are you interested in attending workcamp next summer? We will be traveling to Sullivan, Illinois, the week of July 12-18, 2009. All teens who are currently in grades 8-12 are eligible to attend. If you would like more information call Drew at: (262) 253-0551 ext 23
- Free Matt Maher Concert- Are you missing the music from workcamp? Do you like good music? If so, then you won’t want to miss contemporary Christian artist, Matt Maher in concert on Friday, October 24th, at 7:00 PM at Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church in Pewaukee. (See flyer on the left)!
- Fair Trade Fashion Show- October is Mission Month and St. John Vianney in Brookfield is hosting a Fair Trade fashion show on Saturday, October 25, from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. Tickets are $3.00 each and include admittance to the fashion show (teens modeling clothing, jewelry and other items from fair trade vendors), a salsa dancing lesson, and a charitable donation. Other fair trade items will be available for purchase from the Justice Market. (See flyer on the left!)
- If you’re interested in attending either the Matt Maher concert or the Fair Trade Fashion Show, please contact Lisa at (262) 255-2035 so she can determine whether or not there’s enough people going to arrange for group transportation.
