Requirements
Candidates:
- Must be a baptized Catholic. A copy of the candidates baptismal certificate
must be received at Good Shepherd before retreat.
- Must complete a two night retreat.
- Only three excused absences for the year.Call your leader if you are
going to miss a session!
- Service to the community and service to the church must be completed
before February 2007
- A letter to the Confirmation Presider must be done before March of
2007 (class time will be devoted to the letter)
Sponsors:
- Must be a practicing, Confirmed Catholic.
- A sponsor can not
be a parent. Ideally, a sponsor should be the godparent. If a
sponsor is not able to attend meetings due to schedules etc. please
determine another adult, along with your sponsor, who can journey
with you.
- The Sponsor must be determined before
retreat.
- The Sponsor must must be at least 16 years
old
- Must not be under any penalty of the Catholic
Church.
