A Few of Our Favorite Things

A very Merry Christmas to you and your family from the staff of Good Shepherd.  We thought it would be a good opportunity to share some of our favorite things to celebrate the joy of the Christmas season:

Parish Director Deacon Sandy Sites: My favorite things are sleeping in heavenly peace and dreaming about peace on earth.

Adult Formation & Social Justice Director Marguerite Thompson: My favorite things are calling and seeing family, hearing the readings proclaimed for Christmas Day—especially the Gospel and Christmas Day walks or hikes.

Director of Administrative Services Marge Beck: My favorite things are a peaceful walk in falling snow, seeing the beautiful lights, then returning to a home full of noise, laughter and joy.

Community Engagement Manager Bryan Ramsey: My favorite things are setting up our outside lights with my kids, the crispy pierogi at my family’s Christmas and playing games with the family.

Liturgy Coordinator Judy Zunk: My favorite things are spending Christmas Eve with my sisters and their families, listening to Mannheim Steamroller Christmas music (and a few other artists) and decorating the tree and house with my sister.

Director of Child & Youth Ministries Corinna Ramsey: My favorite things are Christmas movies with hot chocolate, celebrating Christmas Eve Mass with my Good Shepherd family and the laughter at all our friend and family get-togethers.

Formation Ministries Associate Mary Oswald: My favorite things are the joyful anticipation in the air, passing down Christmas traditions and Christmas lights that brighten up the winter nights.

Pastoral Care Coordinator Cheryl Matusiak: My favorite things are Christmas movies and egg nog.

Maintenance Director Steve Johnson: My favorite things are the joy and anticipation of a child, the Christmas Story and family.

From your Good Shepherd staff, may your Christmas be filled with peace, joy and a few of your favorite things!
