Palms for Ash Wednesday Burning Rite
To begin our Ash Wednesday liturgy, we will have the Burning of the Palms ritual. Although these ashes will not be used in the liturgy, the rite reminds us from where the ashes come. These ashes will be used next year. Bring old palms to church next weekend and place in baskets at the base of the ramp.
