The Corn Roast committee extends a GIANT thank you to everyone who helped make the Corn Roast a fun-filled evening. We appreciate our long-time and new volunteers. We hope everyone had a nice time celebrating together.
If you are interested in being a chairperson or co-chair, please contact the parish office. Co-chair duties include: 1 meeting with committee, delegate tasks, manage volunteer sign-up, complete paperwork and order supplies with parish office, plan announcements and bulletin updates, help with setup, clean up, and final notes on the event. There are detailed notes to help in all the planning too!
A Big Corn Roast Thank You
After years of leading the Corn Roast, two key individuals are stepping down.
Cathy Olig, our Corn Roast Coordinator for 8 years, is going to spend more time with her kids.
Grill master of many years, Randy Gonstead, will be handing off the grilling coordination but will be here one more year as support to his replacement.
Thank you, Cathy and Randy, for your many years of bringing good times, wonderful fellowship, and great eats to Good Shepherd.
Please thank these two for their service. May God continue to grant you many blessings, good and faithful servants.
