Psalm: Psalm 15: They Who Do Justice

They who do justice will live in the presence of God;
They who do justice will live in the presence of God.

1: Those who walk blamelessly and live their lives doing justice; Who keep the truth in their heart; And slander not with their tongue.

2: Who harms not another nor take up reproach to their neighbor; Who hates the sight of the wicked; But honors the people of God.

3: Who show no condition in sharing the gifts of their treasure; Who live not off the poor; They will stand firm forever.

Profession of Faith

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
Amen.

Communion: A Place at the Table (If necessary, You Call Us To Be  Timothy Ehlinger © 2024)

You Call Us to Be
You bring light to our darkness and calm to the seas. Tame the wild swirling wind to a soft, gentle breeze. When our fears and confusions are clouding our sight, You call us to be children of God.

  1. From the blindness of selfishness, want, and our pride,You called us and taught us to see.May our hearts find their way on the path you have laid, To be free.
  2. As sheep in Your pasture we gather in hope. With Your promise of peace and new life. May Your grace from above, always guide us in love, Through all strife.
  3. “Love one another as I have love you” Is the witness You gave to us all. May we give from our heart and in faith never part, From Your call.

Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.
I can feel his mighty power and his grace.
I can hear the brush of angel’s wings.

I see the glory on each face.
Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.
