This group has been around for nearly half the time we have been a parish! We were challenged by the Pastor at the time (Fr. Paul Daniels) to respond to the atrocities happening beyond our border in this small little village in Ellacuria, El Salvador. This relationship has enriched us beyond any true measure and engaged us in a more global awareness of social injustices. This is part of its sustaining power. That, and the beauty of building relationships and new friends in an entirely different culture. You don’t have to go to El Salvador to be part of this group. You need not know Spanish. You only need to bring your curiosity and care. Your world will be expanded by the stories, issues, and actions you will learn about. Contact us to learn more, or just visit one of the meetings.
