Catholic Charities Prepares Families
for Deportations
Catholic Charities of Milwaukee requests volunteers to help prepare families and individuals at risk for deportation. Volunteer activities range from clerical (preparing materials) to various kinds of interactions with immigrant individuals and families. Speaking a foreign language is not necessary; many at-risk individuals have been in the U.S. a long time and speak English. In-depth training will be provided, and volunteers will only be assigned tasks they will be comfortable doing. To inquire or volunteer, email Archdiocesan Immigration Attorney Barbara Graham at bgraham@ccmke.org.
