Why Mass Begins a Little Differently in Lent
To begin our celebrations this Lent, a reader will proclaim a brief passage called the Entrance Antiphon at each Mass. Entrance antiphons are drawn from the responsorial psalm of the day, and they identify a central theme for each Mass.
