The Reason We Gather

It has been quite some time since I have told you specifically about our Gay and Straight in Christ group here at Good Shepherd. It is a support and sharing group. We are a gathering of folks that truly represent the title; some of us are “straight” and some of us are LGBTQ. All of us are centered on Christ. We begin with prayer then, in confidence, we share the sorrows and joys of our lives. We always end our gatherings with prayer as well. Our next gathering will be two weeks after Easter. We will be discussing the Resurrection; what it means for us and/or where we have experienced resurrection moments in our lives.
