We continue to pray the universal prayers of this 15th Week in Ordinary time. If you have prayer that is needed, we encourage you to add it to our prayer chain using the button below:
All loving God, You have graciously gathered this assembly before You. We implore You now to hear our prayers.
Moses reminds us that “the way to God is something very near, already in our mouths and in our hearts; we have only to carry it out.” May the Church live the love of God and neighbor and not just proclaim it.
For the local and universal Church, we pray…
God has bestowed rich gifts upon this great nation. Let us remember that, in our desire to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves, we desire to share our gifts with others.
For America and all nations, we pray…
In our desire to love our neighbor, we pray for the courage to be voice for the voiceless, and to advocates for the poor and vulnerable.
For human rights, we pray…
The scholar asks Jesus “who is my neighbor”? May our eyes be opened, and our hearts be moved to recognize as neighbor all who are suffering in body, mind or spirit. Inspire us to interrupt our life journey and tend to those who are vulnerable and sick.
For pastoral care, we pray…
We remember all who have recently died and all those who are grieving. May these, and all the faithful departed, rest forever in peace.
For the deceased, we pray…
We know you have heard these prayers, all loving God. We thank you. We offer them to You through Christ our Lord, Amen!
