Stewardship 2024: Saints of Good Shepherd Ministries
Our parish has been so active in reaching out to those in need. We have advocated for the least of those in our world. We have dedicated our mission to serving and lifting up the marginalized in our society. There are so many ministries that are dedicated to seeing Christ in those who are treated unjustly, the oppressed, the orphan, the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick, the prisoner.
We, the future saints of Good Shepherd, have never been shy about our mission to “strive to welcome, accept and love all people as they are, and through our ministries, reach out with active concern to those in need.” We do it in so many ministries: St. Ben’s Meal, House of Peace Toy Drive, Cathedral Center Meal, Falls Food Pantry, Faith Coalition Against Sex Trafficking, Gay & Straight in Christ, Racial Justice Ministry, Matthew 25 and Catholic Heart Youth Workcamps, just to name a few. This week we celebrate our current saints of Good Shepherd who engage in very public ministries that serve our community and the world.
