Throughout the season of Lent this year, the first readings focus on covenants that God established with Israel. We will examine the meaning of these covenants in light of Israel’s Messiah, Jesus.
Dr. Daniel J. Scholz was the last president of Cardinal Stritch University. He began teaching theology at Pius XI High School and Saint Francis de Sales Seminary. A native of West Allis, Scholz earned a master’s degree in Christian theology from Mundelein College and received a doctorate from Marquette University in Biblical Theology.
