Commitment Weekend
We celebrate Stewardship 2025 alongside our Church Year of Jubilee. We are “Crossing with Hope”, the Hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, into our lives, our families, our parish, our community and our world. We have focused on prayer, relationship and ministry as ways to cross with hope and restore hope in us and our world. Our Good Shepherd community offers wonderful opportunities and resources to strengthen you on your journey and prepare you for a future full of Hope. On this commitment weekend, the journey continues.
Our commitment begins with our financial pledge for 2025. You can make your pledge online at www.mygoodshepherd.org/give or bring your pledge card back and place it in the offertory through December to help us plan for 2025. Our commitment also includes discernment of a ministry we are already involve in or would like to explore as our way of “Crossing with Hope” into our life or the world. Look in the narthex for the Stewardship 2025 table for all the ministries and activities currently offered and explore how God might be calling you this year.
As we enter the new year, we are asked to consider our involvement and commitment in the year to come. Are we ready to serve our faith community? Where do we plan to spend our time, talent and treasure? We are invited to the many opportunities Good Shepherd has to gather as a community in “Crossing with Hope” into 2025.
