Obituary

Born into life April 16, 1944, and returned home to the loving embrace of God on December 11, 2024.

Barb leaves behind her closest family in her later years – her dear friends Joyce Guinn and Sr. Virgine Lawinger.

Barb taught elementary school for many years. She loved teaching, and she loved her students. She also had a special love for her dogs.

Barb was an active member of Good Shepherd Parish in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and Holy Family Parish in Woodruff, Wisconsin. She very much enjoyed her home up North in St. Germain, Wisconsin.

Barb was a member of the Secular Franciscans, and was supportive of the GASIC (Gay and Straight in Christ) ministry at Good Shepherd Parish.

The Visitation for Barbara will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2024, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, N88 W17658 Christman Rd., Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. The Funeral Mass will immediately follow the Visitation at 5:00 PM in the church. A reception will follow the Mass in the parish’s Daniels Hall. Barbara requested that any memorial donations should be made to the Good Shepherd Parish Eschweiler New Century Fund.
