Young Adult Ministry in 2025

As a young adult, I remember the feeling of needing to figure out life but still wanting God to be a big part of it.
The Church has much for children, teens and adults, yet young adults seem to get lost in the mix. We want you to feel counted, seen, valued and helped in your journey of adulthood. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from. You’re welcome here. We want the Word of God to give you direction, purpose, community and a relationship with Jesus.
These are things I felt I needed most at that time in my life, so it’s in that spirit that we invite all young adults to check out what we offer below and know that you are seen and valued at Good Shepherd!
Young Adult Bible Study: Mondays 6:00 PM
Young adults, age 18-28, join us Mondays in Room 207 beginning January 6. We will begin with “My Call to Discipleship.” Bring your Bible, yourself and a friend if you would like. Young adults from our parish, another parish or no parish at all are welcome.
Young Adult Retreat: Jan 31-Feb 2
Schoenstatt Retreat Center, Waukesha
Young adults in their 20’s and 30’s are invited to take time to enjoy being away from your daily routine. Whether married or single, our Winter Weekend Retreat is an opportunity to experience a vibrant young adult Catholic community. Discernment Retreat for Single Women
Single women ages 18-45 are invited to a weekend of personal and communal reflection with the School Sisters of Notre Dame, February 21-23 in St. Louis, MO. The weekend retreat is an opportunity to learn – through conversation, contemplation, prayer and spiritual guidance – how to recognize God’s invitation for your life. Six Spots Left on Catholic Heart Workcamp
July 19-July 26, 2025
Open to: 7th-12th Grade + Up to 20yr olds
Total Cost (including deposit): $700
Catholic Heart Workcamp is a youth friendly, Christ centered Week of caring for others. We will sleep in college dorms and work on Tuscarora Indian Reservation and in the city of Niagara Falls.
