Cold and Flu Season
Cold and flu season is upon us. While there is no way to ensure zero risk of infection, it is important to adopt prevention measures to protect yourself and loved ones. If you have ANY upper respiratory symptoms, please use a mask, use sanitizer and wash your hands frequently. Distance if possible or maybe stay home until symptoms resolve. If symptoms persist for more than three days, contact your primary care provider. Participating in larger events increases your risk, especially if you are immune-impaired by illness, medical treatment or medication. Keeping distance from other people is especially important for people who are at higher risk for severe illness, such as older adults and those with underlying chronic illness. Wear masks, social distance, use sanitizer and wash your hands often!
