Good Shepherd’s a Masterclass When Urgent Needs Arise
Good Shepherd is highly experienced in providing for those most in need. While our legislators struggle to provide SNAP benefits for millions of Americans, Good Shepherd has outlets for you to provide—right now—for the needs of your neighbors. We collect your donations and take them directly to Falls Food Pantry, St. Ben’s Meal Program, House of Peace, Repairers of the Breach and Cathedral Center.
Jesus tells us to feed the hungry in Matthew 25, and Good Shepherd goes above and beyond in listening to him.
This faith in action also raises the community of Good Shepherd. You can become part of any of these groups. Whether it’s providing meatloaf or another meal item for St. Ben’s or Cathedral Center, bag lunches for Repairers or all the food your generosity can handle to Falls Food Pantry or House of Peace—you can join one of these groups in their mission. You can also donate your generosity further by joining the organizations as a volunteer yourself.
If your faith is calling for you to help these ministries more, see below for the current needs, or have a conversation with Marguerite Thompson (thompsonm@mygoodshepherd.org or (262) 345-3898) about how you can put your faith into action even more.
