Our Generosity Story: Your Donations Are Gifts to Those Experiencing Homelessness
Our Sleeping Bags and More Group recently took a load of their sleeping bags to Street Angels Ministry in Milwaukee. The coordinators were quick to say that they were kept right by the front door because they were very popular and the first ones that were selected by their clients. It’s nice to get that feedback to know that your generosity in donations and their generosity in creating quality sleeping bags are gifts to someone we may never meet.
Requested Donations: blankets, mattress pads, comforters and afghans. Bring them to the south entrance closet or parish office.
Also, helpers are welcome to the group. All you need to be able to do is to thread a needle, and we will even help with that if you are willing to sew! Come check us out on Monday mornings at 9:00 AM in Room 201.
