Prayer Shawl Ministry Needs You

We are running very low on Prayer Shawls.  If you knit or crochet please consider making a shawl or two. Our sick and homebound are appreciative of these shawls. The supplies and some new yarn will be in the closet to pickup at your convenience.

Also, we would like the names of all who contribute to this ministry. If possible please contact Cheryl with your contact information: lmatusiakc@mygoodshepherd.org
or (262) 305-4117

Cards to the Homebound Or Lonely of Heart

Did you know that we have a card ministry here at Good Shepherd? Beautiful, seasonal themed homemade cards are sent out monthly to those who need to be supported by the love and support of the Good Shepherd family.

Do you know of someone who can no longer join us for Mass? Someone who is traveling a rough journey either physically or spiritually? Someone who just needs a gentle reminder that they are not alone

Short term or long; we want them to know that we, the Good Shepherd family, miss them and are holding them in prayerful support. Send contact information to Cheryl Matusiak: matusiakc@mygoodshepherd.org or (262) 305-4117

Ministers of Care to the Homebound

We are looking for a couple people who are willing to take communion to the homebound, nursing homes, apartments. Training will be provided. It is a wonderful blessing to not only bring the sacrament to our community but it is a great act of mercy. If you have experience or wish to enter into this special ministry to the community, please let us know.  The time commitment is usually once or twice per month. If interested, please call Cheryl at (262) 305-4117.

Bereavement Ministry

We are reviving our Bereavement and Grief Program. After the pandemic, it’s been a slow start to rebuild and re-vision our program. Volunteers have retired, and we need people interested in developing new approaches to assist those in need after the death of a loved one. Contact Cheryl: (262) 305-4117
