An Invitation to Act with our Justice Action Ministry
Our Racial Justice Ministry is now the Justice Action Ministry. The group has moved into including other crucial issues in addition to racial justice. Are you interested in an action-oriented participation in issues of human dignity such as immigrant justice, the environment and more? Join us after Mass next weekend either Saturday Jan 3 or Sunday Jan 4 in the Mary of Magdala Chapel to learn more!
At this gathering we will offer hospitality, introduce our reinvented ministry to the parish, and explain our expanded focus on a wider variety of issues. Current members will be there to tell their story and to listen to your interests and questions.
Our new mission statement is: To respect the God-given dignity of all human beings and creation, we strive for justice and peace through education, advocacy and participation in community, to build God’s kingdom. Come next weekend and check it out!
