Good Shepherd Funds Truck Repairs
Submitted by Ron Leonhardt
Upon request from the Ellacuria community leaders, the Ellacuria Ministry Committee has approved and forwarded $3,200 for critical repairs to the community truck.

This 30-year-old, open-bed truck is used, for example, to transport people to other communities and to youth sports. It needs a new cylinder head gasket and critical brake repairs. Parish members who have gone to Ellacuria have had the thrilling opportunity to ride in this truck!
The committee also wishes to thank you all for the $3,491 collected on Mission Sunday in November and the net profit of $2,218 from the December Fair Trade sales at Good Shepherd and St. James. These contributions allow us to meet community needs in Ellacuria upon their requests, such as the truck repairs and the well construction (more on that in our next report.)
