Write from the Heart—After Mass Event
Our Write from the Heart group gathers twice a month to share issues that affect our Catholic faith and contact representatives regarding these issues. Currently our focus is on immigration, Catholic Social Teaching and what our archdiocese, US bishops and pope say about the issue. Contacting our representatives adds one more voice to the discussion of these issues.
On February 21-22, we will have a letter writing campaign after Mass that will be informative and satisfying as we put our “two cents” together to share with our representatives. It may seem like it could be ineffective, but if representatives hear from us, they will have a better idea as to our level of care for any issue.
