Corinna Ramsey
Director of Child & Youth Ministry
My family and I have been members of Good Shepherd since 1999. When we were shopping for a parish, we couldn’t help but feel welcomed and at home – everyone was so friendly. Our first born, then 1 year old child, received so many smiles, even with his toddler noises and antics. My husband, Bryan, and I have since raised our 5 children as part of the Good Shepherd family.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Bible Studies Minor. I taught at St. Joan of Arc until I became pregnant with our second child. For the next several years I homeschooled our children. In 2013, I became the Christian Formation Administrative Assistant at Good Shepherd. In 2015, I became the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries at Good Shepherd.
I love what I do. I plan and execute our local Matthew 25 Youth Camp, plan and attend our national mission trip, direct the Confirmation program, organize our youth group, help run our Generations of Faith program and more. All these things make me and our parishioners happy and closer to Jesus. Helping youth and young adults form and keep a relationship with Jesus is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done. I pray that God continues to allow me to work in the Church for years to come.
