Just a Month Until the First Generations of Faith (GOF)
GOF is an amazing program but hard to describe, so here’s how some describe their experience:
~ I like meeting new parishioners, hearing the thoughts/ ideas of teenagers and table group discussions.
~ We liked the community participation of all ages, games that teach, songs and meals.
~ Thank you so much for all your hard work. As new members, we weren’t sure how it would all work, but we felt so welcome, and it feels like we found our place at Good Shepherd in part thanks to the GOF community.
~ We like the socialization and Education.
~ We loved that we were so readily welcomed into the community.
~ We always like being with different generations.
~ We love the food and interactive activities.
~ We like the opportunity to get to know the community, build faith together as a family and share a delicious meal.
GOF meets once per month and is for absolutely everyone in the parish: ages birth to 110, families with children, singles, married, anyone!!! It begins on September 7.
Registering for GOF enrolls your child for Growing Faith: 4K-11 grade-level classes (that include Sacrament preparation) on an additional Sunday per month.
